The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has extended the last date for online registration for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme for the 2026-27 academic year. Eligible candidates can now apply until July 17, 2026.
The CET Cell has urged students who appeared for the MCA CET 2026 held in March to complete their CAP registration before the revised deadline.
The registration process began on July 4 and was originally set to end on July 14. As of July 14, 28,835 candidates had registered out of the 53,256 students who appeared for the entrance exam.
Candidates seeking admission to the first-year MCA programme must complete the online application and upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
Applicants can choose between E-Scrutiny, where documents are verified online, or Physical Scrutiny, which requires them to visit the nearest Scrutiny Centre (SC) or Facilitation Centre (FC) for document verification.
