The Installation Ceremony of the new Executive Committee of the Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing of Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA LEW) for the year 2026–27 was held at the MIDC Hall, opposite VIA, Nagpur.
Yogita Deshmukh was unanimously re-elected as the Chairperson, while Poonam Gupta was elected as the Secretary of VIA LEW for the year 2026–27.

In her welcome address, Yogita Deshmukh reflected on her journey as Chairperson over the past year and highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by VIA LEW to strengthen existing women entrepreneurs while inspiring aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue their business ambitions.
Kaushal Mohta, Hon. Secretary, VIA, announced the names of the newly elected Executive Committee and appreciated the remarkable growth and achievements of the Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing since its inception. He described LEW as one of VIA’s most vibrant forums and congratulated the members for their outstanding contribution towards empowering women entrepreneurs. He urged women entrepreneurs to make full use of various government schemes and opportunities available for business growth. Stressing the need to remain globally competitive, he encouraged entrepreneurs to adopt new technologies, optimize costs, innovate, strengthen marketing and communication, and explore new markets. He also informed members about the various learning and self-development programmes planned during the year and appealed to them to participate enthusiastically.
Expressing her gratitude for the continued trust reposed in her, newly re-elected Chairperson Yogita Deshmukh thanked the members for electing her once again to lead the Wing. She outlined an exciting roadmap for the year, including Udyojika – An All Eves’ Exhibition, Industrial Tours, and Fitathon 3.0, aimed at promoting entrepreneurship as well as personal well-being. She further announced that a major focus during the year would be on practical, value-driven workshops covering contemporary business topics such as Branding, AI Tools, Digital Marketing, Sales, Business Growth, and Leadership. These initiatives are designed to equip women entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills required to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving business environment.
Poonam Gupta, Secretary of VIA LEW, proposed the vote of thanks and expressed thanks to all the participants. The programme was attended in large numbers by VIA LEW members, women entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs and start-up founders.
