CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) has organised a four-day training program on ‘Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) Operation, Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Analytical Testing’ for Engineers, Chemists and Operators from September 3- 6.
The training is designed for engineers, operators, contractors, managers, and regulators associated with the operation, maintenance and management of wastewater treatment plants in the country.
The objective of the training program is to empower the professionals with the latest knowledge and new techniques in the field of wastewater management and thereby equip them with skills that will refine the existing process and apply best management practices at CETPs/ETPs.
The training program was inaugurated by Dr. Hemant Purohit, Senior Scientist, CSIR-NEERI and Dr. J.S. Pandey, Chief Scientist & Head, Climate Change and Skilling Division, CSIR- NEERI.
The recognized experts in the area of wastewater treatment and management Dr. Tapas Nandy, Dr. N N Rao, Dr. M P Patil, Dr. G R Pophali, Dr. Rima Biswas, Er. M Karthik, Dr. Sukdeb Pal, and Er. Pravin Manekar graced the occasion with their participation. Dr. H V Singh, Dr. P R Salve and Er. Suvha Lama, along with other members from Waste Water Technology Division.
