The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) today welcomes the launching of the National Pension Scheme for Traders & Self Entrepreneurs launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
CAIT National President Mr. B.C.Bhartia and Secretary General Mr. Praveen Khandelwal while welcoming the launching said that it will provide social security to small traders who are real revenue earners for the Govt having no remuneration. The pension scheme will benefit about 3 crore traders in the Country.
Mr. Bhartia & Mr. Khandelwal have urged the Prime Minister that so far, the scheme is available for traders up to the age of 40 years. It will be appreciated if traders between the age of 41 to 55 years may also be brought under the ambit of the scheme may be on a little higher premium basis.
Both Mr. Bhartia and Mr. Khandelwal said that it is for the first time in the Country that Government will be giving pension to traders. It was a long pending demand of CAIT. It speaks the approach of Prime Minister & the Government towards the upliftment of traders in the Country.
