Restaurants witness 3x rise in revenue in its 4th  edition
Dineout, India’s largest dining out and restaurant technology solution provider witnessed phenomenal success once again this year for its annual property – Great Indian Restaurant Festival (GIRF). The festival, which was spread throughout the month of August 2019, was aimed towards boosting the overall ‘dining out’ culture in India.
With changing scenarios and increasing interest in the culture of dining out, we see more glamour and glee being part of the activity. Since its re-launch this August, the GIRF festival has become even bigger and better than its 3 rd edition. Where the last edition saw participation from 6000 restaurants across 11 cities and seated close to 2.5 million diners in February, in the 4th edition the participating restaurants are witnessing a surge in a number of diners than the usual days. The celebration saw no limits and has already seen over 4Mn diners at more than 8000 eateries across 17 cities where Dineout is present, including the newly launched cities Surat, Kochi, Lucknow, Indore, Nagpur, and Ludhiana.
During the 4th Edition, the Central-West region emerged as the largest zone in terms of deals. Customers from cities like Ahmedabad, Surat, Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune, and Indore together leveraged close to 8,23, 678 deals where North Indian cuisines emerged as their favorite during the entire edition.
“The initial idea of introducing GIRF was to bridge the gap between our two key stakeholders – customers and restaurants. We wanted to change the way Indians were dining and also help in the growth of the restaurant industry in the long run. Our GIRF is one such festival for which both the diners and restaurants wait throughout the year. The increment in the number of diners and partner restaurants in each edition has been the testimony of the festival’s success. The 4th edition of GIRF is even grander than its previous editions and a win-win for both the consumers and restaurants.†said Ankit Mehrotra, Co-founder & CEO – Dineout.
Following the subject #MonthofMore, Dineout's GIRF welcomed consumers to enjoy binge eating by offering more food offerings and progressively unbelievable eating out encounters. Diners additionally got 20% cashback on their restaurant bills using Dineout Pay which are funded by Dineout. Along with exclusive cashback offers from HDFC Bank and bonus JPMiles from Jet Privilege every-day, GIRF has left its customers enthralled!
GIRF’s official reward’s partner, JetPrivilege has extended exciting offers for their members – one lucky winner gets a chance to earn 25000 JPMiles every day and the highest spender during the festival period will earn 1,00,000 JPMiles applicable for transactions using Dineout pay.
