Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has inaugurated various development projects at Kalmeshwar on Monday.The projects include Broad gauge train project, factory for metro coaches in Sindi at Wardha district, beautification work in Kalmeshwar area.
Union Minister in his speech informed that due to the proposed Broad gauge train project, it will be possible to cut the distance from Kalmeshwar to Ajni railway station in 15 minutes. He was speaking at a program organized by the Highways Authority of Bhumipoojan.
On this occasion, the inauguration of the swimming pool and garden beautification work of the city council also took place.
The launch of Borujawada flyover on National Highway 47 at Savner and the launch of Savner Bypass also took place at the conference. The length of Borujawada flyover is 1 km. It cost Rs 38 crore. Savner bypass on National Highway 547 is 4.7 km in length. Around 82.80 crores have been spent on this project.
Due to the widening of around 725 crores of the Savner-Dhapewada-Kalmeshwar-Gondkhairi highway, the development of the pilgrimage sites at Pandharpur – Vitthal Temple in Dhapewada and Ganesh Temple in Adasa will be promoted. Swimming pool and schools constructed by the Kalmeshwar city council are excellent in terms of infrastructure. Gadkari urged the city council office bearers to make the area plastic-free and clean.
On this occasion, Guardian Minister, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Kalmeshwar council Members, citizens, officials of the National Highway Authority were present.
Bawankule said that nearly 820 crore rupees have been received to Kalmeshwar – Brahmani taluka through Bhumipujan and local dedication of various development works
Earlier, there was development work on the Nagpur-Umred National Highway, Umred-Malewada Highway organized by the Indian National Highway Authority under the Ministry of Road Transport, Highway.
