A Special Lok Adalat will be held on October 2, to mark the 150th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi. The aim of the Special Lok Adalat is to dispose of the pending cases and sorting out new cases through mediation. Lok Adalat is being held under the aegis of District Legal Service Authority, at District Court, Nyay Mandir, Civil Lines.
The pending cases under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act have been selected for the Special Lok Adalat.
The litigants will be informed and are requested to undertake the process of mediation for the early disposal of their pending cases. Efforts will also be made for pre-litigation disposal of cases.
Chief District and Sessions Judge and President of DLSA A J Mantri, Secretary Dhanraj Kale will guide the team for the Lok Adalat.
