In regard to the presence of a tiger in Fetri village,  a meeting was held by the National Tiger Conservation  Authority (NTCA) on September 9. It was assumed that a tiger has entered the village of Alesur, Sauli, and Kalambi and is also killing those cattle which are owned by the farmers. The forest department has installed camera traps in the forest and especially in the area where the tiger is assumed to be active. Forest department had also kept an eye on the forest area,  to protect the people living in the nearby region.
To clear the doubts of the fearful villagers and to make them aware, a gathering was held by the forest department for which, Prabhu Nath Shakal, Deputy Conservator, Nagpur Forest Department, Kundan Hate, Wildlife Guard, Nagpur District, Vinit Arora, Secretary, Krishi Environment Board, Nagpur, Sabosh Nandagavli, Veterinary Officer, Non-Wildlife (Wildlife) – East, Nagpur Office, were present.
The department has also chosen five candidates to monitor the movement of tiger and to inform any of the suspicious action to the department immediately.
