St Ursula High School Under-19 girls and Centre Point School Dabha Under-14 boys emerged winners in Inter-School Football Tournament organised by DSO at Divisional Sports Complex, Mankapur ground, here on Friday.
Under-19 girls final, St Ursula girls blanked Dinanath High School 3-0 via tie-breaker. Even after making a lot of effort both the teams failed to break the deadlock during the regulation time. In tie-breaker, Poonam, Damini Netam and Roshhani Manji capitalised on the opportunities and walked away with a title victory.
In the boy’s final, CPS pipped SFS High school 4-1 via tie-breaker. During the regulation time, the score was equalised (1-1). In the 23rd minute, Gagan Singh Saini struck for CPS. During an inquiry time, Arman scored a sensational goal and leveled the score. In tie-breaker, Zoeb Ahmed, Jaimaan Mehta and Debochit Patnaik perfectly converted the opportunities for the winners. For SFS nobody succeeded in scoring the goal.
