Centre Point School, Katol road boys, and girls teams emerged divisional champions have qualified for Inter-School State Basketball Championship at Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana court on Sunday. In the boy’s final, CPS while representing Nagpur city defeated Nagpur rural’s Modern School WCL Umred 41-40 by just one point. Advait Jagtap (23) played an important role in the victory. For the losing side, Pratham Baranwal (21) tried his best but in vain.
In the girl’s final, CPS got the better of Neojabai Hitkarni School Bramhapuri 39-2 in a one-sided affair.
