Mr. & Mrs. Medico’s signature event of JCI Nagpur Medico for Doctor couples. This is the fifth year of the contest which was organized was organized at Vasantaro Deshpande Hall, Civil Lines, Nagpur this Sunday. This platform offers Doctors to showcase their talent in the field of fashion & glamour. Â This year along with ten couples and seven students from different medical & Dental colleges contested Mr and Miss Medico sub competition.
The inauguration was done by the hands of Mr. Parinay Fuke, Minister of state Maharashtra and Mrs. Parineeta Fuke, Corporator NMC Nagpur. Chief Guest was Mr. K M Mallikaarjuna Prasanna, J.G. of police. Guests of honor was JCI Sen. CA Mahesh Rathi, Dr. Manju Giri and JCI Sen Mukesh Ashar were GOH.
The contest was split into Introduction, Talent in one minute & Question – answer round.  Dr. Parul and Siddharth Saoji walked away with the crown while Dr. Divya and Ashish Asudani backed the first runners up spot. Dr. Aishwarya and Rahul Dahake.  pocketed the second runners up award. Amongst student category Mr. Vaibhav Naik and Miss. Vedika Pathade won the first prize while Mr. Saurabh Loya and Miss. Fiza Pathan backed the runner up trophy.
This year JCI Nagpur Medico had launched Mr. & Mrs. Social Media King & Queen contest. Dr. Parul and Siddharth Saoji were awarded as Mr. & Mrs. Social Media King & Queen.
Judges for the contest were Dr. Suresh Chari, Dr. Warsha Dhawale, Mrs. Srimathy Madkholkar, Mr. Sarvesh Agrawal, Dr. Amit Samrath and Mrs. Archana N Kumar.
President JCI Nagpur Medico Dr. Smita Pakhmode expressed happiness about the success of the program as the event rocked with the representation of all fraternity & every generation of medical and dental fields. Dr. Sudhir & Dr. Vaishali Mamidwar, Dr. Alok & Dr. Shilpi Umre, Dr. Ashish & Dr. Madhavi Ambhore, Dr. Deepa & Dr. Nakul Ambhore, Dr. Sakshi & Dr. Mohasin Quazi, Dr. Ashish & Dr. Divya Asudani, Dr. Siddharth & Dr. Parul Saoji & Dr. Nilay and Dr. Meenakshi Hande, Dr. Vinita & Dr. Hrishikesh Belsare and Dr. Aishwarya & Dr. Rahul Dahake were contestants of the Mr. & Mrs. Medico 2019.
Project Directors Dr Swati Sarda, Dr Kshitij Bang & Dr Deepika Chandok; Project coordinators Dr Vartika Patil, Dr. Sanjay Pakhmode, Dr Deepa Bang, Dr Payal Agrawal, Dr Mitali Kalamkar, Dr Swapnil Kalamkar, Dr Vandana Gade, Dr Manju Chandankhede, have taken lot of efforts and worked as a team in organizing this event. Winner of Mrs. West Asia Dr. Vartika Patil was an anchor for the program. Ganesh Vandana by Medical students and solo performances of Mrs. Vartika Patil & Sayali Pakhmode were major attractions of the `program.
JCI Nagpur Medico secretary Dr. Jasmeet Chandhok, IPP Dr. Sachin Deokar, Past Presidents Dr. Ashish Khandelwal, Dr. Viral Shah, Dr. Sushil Lohiya, Dr. Dinesh Agrawal, Dr. Richa Zararia expressed gratitude.
Dass Jewelers, Sayali Children Hospital, VIMS Hospital, Poonam Bazar, Om Sivam Buildcom, JEEP, Eden Greenz, and FBB big bazaar were the sponsors for the show. Winners of Mr. & Mrs. Medico bagged a gift voucher of 25,000, 15,000 and 10,000 respectively by Dass jewelers. All contestants received gift hampers from Poonam Super Bazar and customized trophies.
Many prominent faces of Nagpur and Nagpurians Doctors & JCI Members & families, Medical students were present there enjoyed the Event.
