For a better life and a stable income for ex-military men, Mother Dairy has started a plan to support them in a no-profit no-loss way. Mother Dairy have started providing dairy stalls to the ex-military men who have recently retired from their jobs.
According to one of the employees in Mother Dairy’s head office, the ex-military men are one of the hard-working people who have served their time and life to protect our nation and after a specific age, they are sent home with no jobs in hand. So, to keep them employed and make them earn we are just providing a helping hand to the ones who have been standing alert on the borders.Swapan Sinha, Deputy General Manager of Mother Dairy, Nagpur said that at the age when most of the people get started with their jobs, these military men are seen retiring from theirs. So, to give a steady back up to their family, we are helping them by making them an owner of one of our stalls where they can earn and sell our dairy products.
The reason why Mother Dairy chose only military men over any other categories is that they are already disciplined because of their routine which they have been following for years, said Sinha. Around 45 stalls have been provided to the ex-military men just in Nagpur city. Besides this, the same initiative has been implemented across Maharashtra. There are few conditions on which the stalls are provided. The ex-military men have to be in safe I category in their medical examination when they get retired; they have to be below 55 in age. All these specifications have to be filled in a form after which DGR and Mother Dairy conducts an interview and a written test.
