In a marathi mono act ‘Kranti Ratna Vasudev Balwant Phadke’ on the life journey of an Indian Independence activist Vasudev Balwant Phadke presented by Mundle education trust, kept in audience in awe and held everyone in their seats with their spellbinding performance  on November 4 at Scientific Hall Laxmi Nagar to pay a tribute on his birth anniversary.
Vasudev Balwant Phadke was an Indian independence activist and revolutionary who sought India’s independence from the British Raj. The mono act was organized to show the life struggle of Phadke during the fight against the Britishers for independent India.
Prafull Mategaonkars effortless performance as Phadke moved everyone and gave a sneak peak in the life of freedom fighters. The strong dialogue delivery and different actions done by the actor made everyone love with the play.
The aim of this mono act was to give knowledge to the youths of the orange city about their past, origin, culture and history. People came in masses to see the mono act and learn more about the Independence activist and his involvement in making India free from British Raj.
