It has been reported that the excessive rains have made an adverse effect on the custard apple production of Girad; the place which is famous for its sweet custards apples. This year, with this low production, the prices of custard apples have touched the sky .The custard apples are nature’s gifts.
The custard apple trees grow naturally in forests. The custard apples in Girad are famous for its sweetness. As per information, the custard apples were sold for Rs.10 per piece in last year. However, this year it has been sold for Rs.20 to Rs.25 per year. These custard apples are even sent to Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore also.
