Annasaheb Gundewar (AG) College defeated host Dhanwate National College (DNC) by four wickets to win Inter-College T-20 Cricket Tournament that was organised as a part of Dr Punjabrao Deshmukh Sports Festival by Dhanwate National College at Vasant Nagar ground on Sunday.
Batting first DNC scored 188 for six in 20 overs with Akshay Agrawal scoring 77. Kushal Pimpalkar (39) Akshay Dullarwar (32) and Vipul Rathor (20) were other scorers. For AG College, Hariom Barve claimed three wickets for 29 runs whereas Siddhesh Neral got one for 34.
In reply, AG College achieved the target losing six wickets in 20 overs. Thanks to Dinesh Raikwar who hammered 75. He was well supported by Om Dhotkar (39) and Siddhesh Neral (34). For DNC, Pawel Somkuwar, Kushal  Pimpalkar, Vivlesh and Akshay Dullarwar were chipped in with one wicket each.
DNC principal Dr Surendra Jichkar was the chief guest of prize distribution function. Vetera coach Sunil Mujumdar, Vikas Shesh, Omkar Gangan, Ninad Jamgade, Dr Alka Jichkar, Dr Bablu Shrigiriwar, Dr Devendra Wankhede, Gulabrao Dullarwar, Sanjay Pimpalkar and others were present on the occaison. Dr Subhash Dadhe conducted the proceedings while Jayant Jichkar propose a vote of thanks.
