Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Western Region is organizing the 5th edition of MSME Summit 2019 & B2B Buyer-Seller Meet on Saturday, 30 November 2019 from 0900 -1700 Hrs at Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur.
Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Road Transport & Highways, Government of India is the Chief Guest and will address during the Inaugural session of the Summit.
The Summit is combined with Focused Buyer Seller Meets where PSU’s & Large Scale Industries are there as buyer with specific requirements which they are looking forward to source from MSMEs of the Vidarbha Region. The confirmed buyers are: Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd., Maharashtra State Mining Corporation, Naval Dockyard, Amazon India, Dassault Reliance Aviation Ltd., Ashok Leyland Ltd., Sany Heavy Industry Co. Ltd., Ceat Ltd., Lemken India Agro Equipments Pvt. Ltd., Vertiv Energy Pvt. Ltd.
The B2B meet will help the MSMEs in understanding the requirements of the OEM’s, desired components, procurement norms, buying pattern and will also provide an opportunity for one-on one or group interaction between buyers and suppliers for initiating smooth business tie ups. It not only opens new avenues for business but also provide an opportunity to learn, explore, innovate and network with the people.
The theme of this summit is “Empowering MSMEs towards India@ 5 Trillion Dollar Economyâ€. CII has always been working towards enabling MSMEs in India to Go Global, achieve Technical Prowess and gain access to a better credit line. This Summit, will enable MSMEs to build Competitiveness and help them explore the multitude of Opportunities in Exports which are available worldwide. The Primary objective of the summit is to create a pathway for MSMEs reach a global platform and to integrate their functions into the global market by directly engaging with the global players. In today’s changing age adoption of new age technology is crucial, and this summit will also be addressing the same which in turn will benefit growth (locally and nationally) and act as a major boost for India’s 5 trillion Dollar dream.
