The drama continues on the third day as well after Ajit Pawar who took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister along side Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on November 23 has reportedly resigned from his post just a day before the floor test ordered by the Supreme Court.
Devendra Fadnavis will be addressing the media at 3.30 pm and is  likely to make an official announcement. The development comes as a setback to the BJP, which was confident of winning the floor test tomorrow.  He held an urgent meeting of MLAs, minutes after the SC’s directive.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday has passed it’s decision deciding the fate of Maharashtra Politics Supreme court says floor test to be conducted on November 27 and the proceedings to be telecast live. There will be no secret ballots and the proceedings will be conducted by Protem Speaker.
A bench of Justices N V Ramana, Ashok Bhushan and Sanjiv Khanna has passed their decision on the special plea of NCP-Shiv Sena-Cong taking note of the key letters of Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari inviting Devendra Fadnavis to form the government, and of the BJP leader claiming the support of the required number of MLAs to stake claim submitted by the Centre.
