The Indian Air Force (IAF), conducted a student interaction program called Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle Drive (IPEV) in VNIT, Nagpur on November 29 as part of its nationwide awareness program.
IAF’s Directorate of Induction and Selection in a Holistic Approach (DISHA), conducts such drives across the country to motivate the students to join the IAF. To attract the young and aspiring students, IAF has developed the Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) the vehicle highlights and demonstrates the various facets of the Indian Air Force to the target group.
The Induction Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV) has 6 different zones representing the various domains on which IAF is serving nation since October 8, 1932.
Event started with arrival of exhibition vehicle at campus followed by Interaction with Institute dignitaries which was then followed by motivational lectures. Fifteen officers from the Indian Air Force (IAF) delivered the lectures various aspects as to why join the IAF, life at IAF etc. The students were also given an exposure to the specialized Publicity Exhibition Vehicle (IPEV)
From VNIT, around 150 students attended the event. Director VNIT, Dr. Padole, expressed his gratitude for having IAF team on campus and organizing such a wonderful event which would boost students Interest towards serving nation through IAF.
