Nagpur Metro rail project Maha Metro has recently submitted a proposal to start the feeder bus services to the Municipal commissioner Abhijeet Bagnar on Reach-1 of Sita-Buldi to Khapri Interchange. The Metro is currently running at the speed of 80 Kmph on Reach-1 with frequent services.
A proposal was submitted to the Nagpur Municipal Commissioner on behalf of Maha Metro to start these feeder bus services on the 13 routes from the stations.
In the presence of the Director (Strategic Planning) of Maha Metro, Municipal Commissioner Abhijeet Bangar and concerned superintendents where he appreciated the proposal to run the feeder bus service by Maha Metro on these routes for a hassle free transport facility for the citizens. Bangar ensured of looking into the proposal and to start the services soon.
A survey was conducted by Maha Metro, on the requirement of feeder buses for the commuters. According to the format given, the feeder bus service will be as follows: –
Mhalgi Nagar to Jai Prakash Nagar – Mhalgi Nagar Feeder Bus Service will continue every 30–30 minutes from 6.40 am to 8.10 pm. This bus service will reach Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Uday Nagar, Tapasya Vidyalaya, Manewada Chowk, Omkar Nagar, Rameshwari Ring Road, Tukaram Auditorium, Narendra Nagar, Panchdeep Nagar, Jai ​​Prakash Nagar.
Similarly, between Jai Prakash Nagar to Jaytala – The bus service will be available after every 30 minutes will continue from 6.40 am to 8.10 pm. The bus will leave from Jayatala to Ashtavinayak Nagar, Prasad Nagar, Surve Nagar Phata, NIT Complexes, Indraprastha Pannase Layout Phata, Umate College, Deendayal Nagar, Dhomane Auditorium, Swalambi Nagar, Agne Layout, Telecom Nagar, Khamla Bazar Chowk, Jai Prakash Nagar and will reach to the Metro Station.
