In an alarming incident, on Monday, fifteen girl students were injured when a school bus with high speed lost control and turned lopsided after sliding down from the road in Vakeshwar area under Butibori police station. As per information, the injured are the students of Dhiran Kanya Vidyalaya, Sitabuldi and have been identified as Janhavi Udke,Gauri Dhurve,Ananya Saroj,Shreya Warkade,Shivani Namurte,Khushi Parihar,Kashish Patel,Nitu Ambadare,Gayatri Gaikwad,Anjali Warthi,Nadini Bhojne,Anushka Vandile and Kashish Bhimte.
As per the information,as usual the bus after taking the students from Warnga the bus was going to Butibori.Due to the narrow Butibori-Warnga road, the driver Shreeram Shirode lost control over the steering in Vakeshwar area. After the accident the driver escaped from the spot. And the injured students were admitted to the hospital in Butibori.And Butibori police has seized the vehicle. As per information, this is for the second time the Dhiran Kanya Vidyalaya school bus met with an accident.
