It has been reported that the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), that has recently decided to introduce changes in the patterns of question papers of class X and XII examinations by 2023.The changes which aims to make students do critical, creative and analytical thinking. As per information, this year students will get 20% objective questions and 10% questions which will be based upon creative thinking.
Vocational subjects are avoided in India due to lack of employability, poor value, and absence of stability in the market. And the teachers should be trained for more than six months to become mentors, highly motivated communicators, expressive with good creative thinking and emotional balance.
New Education Policy (NEP) has talked a lot about All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and CBSE to address the crisis of technical education. NEP suggested imbibing the interest for vocational subjects and other main subjects right from the school level.NEP focuses on different aspects like early childhood care, teachers training and promoting vocational education.
