Opportunities could be big or small. Not letting it go and dealing it with right attitude matters, told popular chef, entrepreneur and founder of Ruchira cooking classes Chitra Soni. She was addressing home chefs in Personality and Attitude Session arranged by Nagpur based Nativ Chefs at IIM Campus, VNIT, Nagpur. When you are starting something of your own, what matters most is the right approach to handle criticism, getting over weakness’s and clear thinking.She shared the tips to stay positive and keep things going. Keeping achievable goals and ensuring that they are achieved inculcates the sense of disciplined work, she added. A women entrepreneur has to have multi talented persona that includes taking care of home, children, family and also managing own’s task well, was her advice to all home chefs. Nagpur based Nativ Chefs is startup project that has given home chefs a platform to portray their cooking skills.  Dr. Pratima Shastri, in another session illustrated the topic of ‘food as source of nutrition, Basic methods of cooking and cultural influences’.Â
While Dr. Renuka Mainde focused on Quality Management, Recipe standardization and time management. The purpose of these sessions were to make home chefs more professional and develop the right attitude towards their ventures. Over fifty home chefs attended the session.
