The Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in a response to a call attention motion by Satish Chavan in the Legislative Council informed that audit of the technical on-line examinations conducted through the Mahapariksha Portal is in progress and an enquiry has been ordered into the errors in conducting examinations.
Recently mistakes in the examinations on veterinary courses have been reported. CM stated that the examinations are conducted at 67 centres in that only one case from Jalna district about wrong code number was reported.
As per information, the examinations for veterinary courses have been stayed and enquiry initiated. Unless the capacity of the portal is increased and possibility of all mistakes removed the portal will not be operated. And if any malpractices noticed they will appoint another agency for smooth functioning of the task because injustice towards students is not acceptable.
