The Nagpur District Masters Athletic contingent comprising of 76 athletes with 26 females and 50 males athletes is leaving on December 26, for the 41st Masters State Athletic Meet to be held Krida Sangh Miraj under the aegis of Maharashtra Masters Athletic Association.
The three day meet is scheduled from December 27 to 29. The athletes will be competing in the various track and field events at different age categories from 35 and above, informed Ishwar Deshmukh, Member of the Association.
The winners of the state meet will represent Maharashtra state team for the Nationals to be held at Manipur. The Meet is organized by Sangli Masters Athletic Association. Helen Joseph and Dr. A Kapta, Sr. Vice President, S. Patil Secretary of the Nagpur District Masters Association has conveyed the best wishes to the athletes.
