Saint Francis De Sales church celebrated Christmas with its followers and other participants who contributed their time with the church on the morning of December 25.

The youngster and even the adults took part in this Christmas celebration event, where carols were sung and the birth of Jesus was celebrated in the church. Around five hundred people came together to celebrate Christmas.
During the event the pastor of Saint Francis De Sales read a Christmas story and had a ceremony of Sacrament where all the worshiper were given wine and Sacrament bread as part of the ritual.
The Pastor during the ceremony said, “Christmas is all about a God who became human to share in our joys and sorrows. God took upon himself what was ours to give us, what was his. He became a man in order to make us share in his divine nature. The commercial world has somehow stolen the lustre of real Christmas. Often Santa Clause, sweets and dresses take the centre stage sidelining Jesus, who is greatest gift of Christmas season.
In Christmas the face of god the revealed to humanity, in the poor Babe of Bethlehem, God has revealed his tender love and mercy. He has dispelled darkens and revealed a tender and merciful god who has made, his dwelling with us. Christmas is festival of sharing, as god shared his son with us.
