Mahatma Gandhi College, Parshivni and Sindhu Mahavidyalaya men and women emerged champion in Inter-College Woodball Championship organised by the Department of Sports and Physical Education at Tirpude College ground, here on Wednesday.
In the singles Abhishek Atram and Pallavi Pachare triumphed. On the basis of the performance RTMNU men and women teams will be selected for All-India Championship to be held at Chandigarh from January 4.
Treasurer of Woodball Federation of India Pravin Manwatkar, general secretary Ajay Sontakke, Dr Madhavi Mardikar, Sudhir Kahate, Dani, Chopde, Dr Sanjay Khalatkar, teacher in-charge Anil Wake, Samir Abrat, Naresh Suryavanshi, Dr Larokar and others graced the prize distribution function.
