Aqua Sports Club swimmers Sanjana Joshi and Sanika Kawde secured 1st & 2nd place respectively in Girls Group- III (13-15 yrs.) at the 10th State Level Open Sea Swimming Competition 2019 held at Chivala Beach, Malwan.
More than thousand swimmers from all over Maharashtra took part in the competition in different age groups. Sanjana Joshi won 1st place in 3 Km with the time 0:28.55 min, while Sanika Kawde won 2nd place with the time 0:32.03 min. Sanjana is awarded with Fastest Girl Swimmer in her group.
Snehal Joshi secured 6th place in Group- IV Girls (16-18 yrs.) clocking 0:53.12 min for 5 Km. In Girls group – II (11-12 yrs.) Bhumika Kokode secured 8th place with the time 0:23.43 min. while Yashashree Dhole secured 9th place with the time 0:23.59 min in 2 Km.
In Group- II Boys (11-22 yrs) Siddhant Bodele secured 8th place with the time 0:19.46 min for 2 Km.
All other swimmers Sanay Kawde, Urvi Atre, Rabhya Chowhan and Veteran swimmer Sushant Bodele and Sunil Joshi gave their best performance to finish the race in best time.
The above swimmers gave the credit of their success to NIT Swimming Pool Authority & Sportians Academy of Sports Excellence for their kind support and providing the wonderful swimming facility.
