It has been reported that employees and teachers of Sarkari Nimsarkari Shikshak Shikshakettar Karmachari Samanvay Samiti, Rajya Sarkari Karmachari Madhyavarti Sanghatana, Maharashtra Rajya Zilla Parishad Karmachari Mahasangh and Maharashtra Rajya Chaturth Shreni Sarkari Karmachari Sanghatana will observe a nation-wide strike on January 8, 2020 in support of various demands.
The demands include, starting old pension scheme by cancelling national pension scheme, getting increased allowances like Centre, DA and arrears of July 1, 2019, publication of volume II of Bakshi Committee, five-day week, retirement age at 60 years, filling up of vacant posts, cancelling contractual system, closing outsourcing, cancelling privation of different departments etc. As per information, recently these organisations submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, to Vikas Kharge, Principal Secretary.
