Nagpur: The gates for the 27th Orange City Craft Fair and folk dance will be open for Nagpurians. A national level Orange City Craft Fair and folk dance event is being organized at South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur from January 10 to 19. The gates for the craft fair will be open from 2 pm to 9.30 pm.This fair will present different crafts designs and art from various parts of India along with folk and tribal dances, handicrafts and delicious dishes from various states of the country. Giving a message of women empowerment, five women have been invited as the chief guests for the inauguration of the Orange City Craft Fair and folk dance this year.
Commissioner and Managing Director of Maharashtra Handloom Corporation, Nagpur, Madhavi Khode IAS, President of Sanskar Bharti, Kanchan Gadkari, Social Worker Jyoti Bawankule, former Mayor Mukta Devi Mohite will take part in the fair.
A lively presentation of folk dances will start at 6.30 pm on the main stage 150 handicrafts men will participate in the handicrafts fair and more than 300 folk and tribal artists will participate. Apart from this, there will be 25 stalls of delicious dishes.
