South Central Zone Cultural Center, Nagpur (SCZCC) organized a popular morning music programme  “Brahmanaadâ€, at center premises today. Ajinkya Gallande of Pune played tabla and famous sitarist Anirudh Joshi gave a mesmerizing performance.
The program was inaugurated by well-known Santur player Pt. Valmik Dhande, Archana Joshi and SCZCC Director, Dr. Deepak Khirvadkar lit the lamp, Deputy Director Mohan Parkhi, Program Officer Shashank Dande, Â Srikant Desai were present on the occasion. The program was moderated by Smt. Shweta Shelgaonkar.
All the artists were introduced by Valmik Dhande, Dr. Gajanan Jhade, and Dr. Varsha Jhade. The program started with Shree Ajinkya Gallande’s solo tabla playing, in which he enchanted everyone by giving beautiful presentations of Punjabi traditional music and others like ‘Qaeda’, ‘Shivpuran’ and other compositions.In the second phase of the program, famous sitar player Anirudh Joshi gave a magical performance. He started his sitar playing with the raga ‘Ramkali’. In which he presented Alap, Add, Jhala.
After this, he performed ‘Bandish’ in Taal-Tritala, Madhyalaya, and Dritalaya. He concluded the program by playing a raga mala of 32 ragas. Well-known tabla player Sandesh Popatkar did the same on the tabla.
A large number of music lovers of the city attended the event. Who greatly appreciated the performances by all the artists.
