Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar held their Annual Interschool Singing Competition called Centunes on the 10th and 11th of January in the school. The competition that lasted for two days had Hindi and English Duet and Choir competitions and around 21 schools across Nagpur participated in the same.
A magical mesmerizing atmosphere was created by the soothing songs that were sung with complete exuberance and zeal.
In the Hindi Duet the 1st and 2nd places were grabbed by Vincent Pallotti, Kamptee and Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar respectively, whereas BVM, Ashti and Sandipani School won the 1st and 2nd places respectively in the Hindi Choir category, BVM Ashti also won the overall Hindi Song Trophy.
In the English Duet, the 1 st place was grabbed by Centre Point School, WN, whereas the 2nd and 3rd places were won by Centre Point School, Katol Rd. and Centre Point School, Amravati Rd. In the English Choir, the 1st place was grabbed by Centre Point School,
Amravati Rd. and the 2nd and 3rd places went to Centre Point School, Katol Rd. and Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar respectively. Centre Point School, Amravati Rd. won the English Song Trophy whereas Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar won the coveted overall Rolling Trophy.
The occasion was graced by Mrs. Radhika Rajwade,Director Centre Point Group of Schools, Mr. Jai Rajwade, Mrs. Mukta Chatterjee, Executive Director and other dignitaries who congratulated the winners and appreciated the effort that was put in by one and all at the school to make the program a huge success.
