The 107th convocation ceremony of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University will be held on January 18.The Chief Justice of India (CJI) Justice Sharad Bobde will grace the occasion as the chief guest. In view of this, the tight security will be deployed near the area and the visitors would not be allowed for the programme which will be held at Kavivarya Suresh Bhat Sabhagruha.
The university has already commenced the preparation for the programme. As per information, only invitees would get entry.CJI Bobde who is an alumnus of the university given time for this convocation in spite of his busy schedule. Along with the heavy police security, the university has also arranged guards from the Maharashtra Security Force and meetings are continuing among the security officials. It is to be noted that this time only two relatives can accompany a merit list candidate to avoid the crowd. And their sitting arrangements would be made in the balcony of the hall.
