Ira International girls, Nagpur Hockey Academy boys triumph

Ira International School girls and Nagpur Hockey Academy boys have emerged as champion in hockey tournament organised during Khasdar Krida Mahotsav at Vidarbha Hockey Association ground.

I n girls section, Ira International pipped Nagpur Hockey Academy 1-0 with Palak Sharma scoring the match winner in 39^th minute. In the boys final, Nagpur Hockey Academy defeated Kings XI. However girls lost to Ira International.

Nagpur Hockey Academy boys defeated Kings XI 6-4. For the winners, Kaustubh Baradia (19^th), Harshal Potfode (29^th, 36^th), Vishal Mandade (33^rd, 43^rd) and Siddhant Gajbhiye (56^th) were the scorers.

For Kings XI, Fawwaz Ahmed (3^rd), Sanjay Yadav (8^th), Prashant Mishra (48^th) and Sofiyan Sheikh (49^th) reduced the margin.

Prizes were distributed by former MLA Sudhakar Deshmukh. Former VHA president BC Bhartia, VHA Administrator TN Sidhra, Tournament Co-convenor Deaven Dasture, GM Pillay, Girish Gadge, Kishor Goydani, Noel Joseph and others were present during the prize distribution function.
