To provide effective treatment to the various ailments through Yoga is the motto of Yogabhyasi Mandal, with this message, an Inter-school Yogasan Competition 2020 organized on January 18 at Yashwant Stadium, Dantoli, Nagpur, from 7 am. Around 20,000 students from 150 schools across Nagpur are participated in the competition.Since 1992, the Inter-school Yogasan Competition is conducted to instill patience, concentration, and courage among students. In the year 2013, 10,000 students participated in the competition, while 12,000 students participated in the year 2018.
The competition was conducted in the memory of late Bhanutai Gadkari, mother of Nitin Gadkari and disciple of Janardanswami.
Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways of India and Shipping Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, was prominently present in the competition. Chief Guest Nitin Gadkari in his address said that “my mother was a disciple of Swamiji and taught women to practice yoga. As yoga improves health and personality Yoga practice is always a must. All the students showed excellent yoga practice. I would like to congratulate the organizer of the Yogyabhasi Boardâ€.
Ramabhau Khandve Guruji said in his address that “patience and concentration in life should be achieved. The competition is organized to get you motivated to practice yoga continuously. This will give you satisfaction, happiness and well-being in life. In this way, the future of the country will be brightâ€.
At the time of the demonstration, many teachers of the Yoga Vyabhashi Mandal were giving marks for various school innovations.
Each of team worked on their rhythm, posture, motion, position, number, discipline, uniform according to which the students were judged.
Five awards were given in the competition.
The program was hugely benefited by the cooperation of many government and semi-government organizations.
