There will be no power supply for several hours in parts of the city on Wednesday. The electric company has declared electricity shutdown citing the removal of electric poles disrupting traffic, repair and also for maintenance works.
The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSED-CL) has announced there will be a power cut on Wednesday, January 22 from 8 am to 12 at Dharampeth, Aath Rasta, Khadgaon Feeder, Hudkeshwar, Godhani, Fetri, Borgaon, and Beltarodi subcentre.
There will be no power from 8 am to 11 am in Pande Layout, Gopal Nagar, Khamla and Subhash Nagar while from 9 am to 10.30 am in areas of Wadi feeder. There will be no electricity from 9 am to 11 am in Sitabuldi and Ajmera feeder areas for repair and maintenance.
There will be a power cut from 8 am to 2 pm at Shankar Nagar feeder, Bahadura and Gokulpeth Switching Station areas while the Jaitala feeder will be off from 7 am to 12 noon for new work.
The electricity will be shut in Gandhibag area’s Vijay Nagar, Bhavani Nagar and Sonba Nagar from 10 am to 4 pm while at Harihar temple feeder, Dahi Bazaar feeder, CA Road, Chitar Oli feeder, Kalamna feeder, Kawrapeth feeder and Raut chowk feeder from 9 am to 2 pm. 2-in-1 Electric poles to be removed.
There will be power cuts from 8 am to 12 noon at Great Nag Road feeder, Shukrawari feeder and Model Mill feeder for transferring the electric poles and electric lines coming in the middle of the roads under Integrated Road Development Programme.
There will be a power cut at Vayu Sena Nagar, Babad Nagar, Shambhukar feeder and Jafar Nagar feeder from 11 am to 3 pm.
