Annual Day was celebrated by ISA NCB recently, Dr. S. Balabhaskar, National President of ISA was the chief guest. On this occasion students and the members were given prizes in various categories like Best Paper presentation, Best case presentation, Best poster competition and public awareness activities. Dr. Manisha Shembekar in her welcome address thanked the senior members for their contribution to the association.
All the past Presidents of ISA NCB sere felicitated at the hands of the chief guests. Dr. Balabhaskar stressed on the need to encourage and give the opportunity to young speakers.
Mrs. Kamlabai Deshpande memorial Lifetime achievement award was conferred upon senior and renowned Anesthesiologist of city Dr. Ashutosh Chaoji for his contribution to anesthesia specialty.
On this occasion, Dr. E.G. Tambe memorial oration was delivered by Dr. S. Balabhaskar on the topic “The beginner’s approach to researchâ€. He stressed on the need to do research at the individual level in a scientific and methodical manner.
Dr. Soma Cham, Hon. Secretary proposed a customary vote of thanks. Dr. Ravi Mundada and Dr. Devyani Thakur conducted the proceedings.
