The much-awaited film “Panga” has hit the theaters today giving a tough competition to another film Street Dancer#D. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
Panga starring Kangana Ranaut in the role of a retired kabaddi player Jaya Nigam, who returns to the sport after seven-years facing series of challenges in her path.One can feel like the role is made for Kangana and she with absolute perfection gave the best and there isn’t a single false note in her performance.
The film is about a former Kabaddi player now turned housewife to take care of her baby.
On being supported by his husband (Jassie Gill), how Kangna makes a comeback to hit the field and train to make a comeback to her first love Kabaddi. Therein starts the journey to find her way back to the game at the age of 32.
Richa Chadha in a special appearance as Jaya’s friend and young kabaddi coach Meenu brings in the humour with her own unique flair while Jassie Gill as the supportive husband wins over with his charm, and as always, Neena Gupta is good too.
