Jhansi Rani Station of Aqua line route between Sitabuldi to Lokmanya Nagar is now ready for the passengers. Due to the presence of malls, hospitals, educational institutions and commercial areas near this station, this metro station has got a vital role in metro services.
Sitabuldi station is on the eastern side of Jhansi Rani Station. This area is considered geographically the center point of the metropolis. Aqua-Line Passenger service of Nagpur Metro between Lokmanya Nagar Station to Sitabuldi Interchange is all set to be inaugurated on January 28. The metro services will be available at every 30 minutes at the stations.
With the completion of the construction work of Jhansi Rani metro station which was started in the year 2014, now fully equipped to serve the passengers, the station was constructed in an area of about 3000 square meters.
On the first day that is, after the inauguration ceremony, the first metro will start at 2 pm. Travel services will be available from 2 pm to 8 pm on Jan 28. The next day, the metro service will start from 8 am to 8 pm.
Maha Metro has started commercial services from Khapri Metro Station to Sitabuldi Interchange under Reach-1 on the Orange Line from March 7 last year.
