The much awaited mega inter collegiate youth festival, ‘Crescendo Na Rulership, Na Citizenship, Hungry for Friendship’ is being organized by Tirpude Institute of Management Education (TIME), Nagpur between January 30 and February 2.
The year 2020 also happens to be the one when Yugantar Education Society is celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of its founder Late Nasikraoji Tirpude. Students of the college have planned a series of Flash Mobs, this week at various prominent locations in Nagpur to promote Crescendo. The idea is to generate curiosity about Crescendo among youth and promote various cultural and sports competitions that are a part of this mega event.
Crescendo has 14 cultural and 13 sports events under its ambit this year and it generates tremendous enthusiasm and participation. The entire event is managed by students themselves, organized in a corporate hierarchical style. The most unique feature of this year is that the students of TIME do not participate in the events, rather they organize it only. This event not only helps the students of TIME to nurture their hidden talent, but also hone their management skills. Crescendo is the only Youth Festival in the region which provides the students in the entire region with a platform to showcase their talent. Several student teams visit different colleges and educational institutes to promote and undertake registration for different competitions. A registration desk is also set up at TIME, to felicitate participation.
