The students of Jain International School, Nagpur brought laurels to the school with their outstanding performance in ‘JSW SCIENCE CONCLAVE, 2019-20 held at Jindal Vidya Mandir, Kalmeshwar. Hussain Ali of Std. X and Dev Khosla of Std. VIII bagged the First Prize.
The theme of the event was ‘Science and Technology for sustainable development’. The two students presented a model based on sustainable practices to combat environmental issues.
The model depicted the use of biodegradable materials to form edible packaging balls to mitigate the growing nuisance of plastic use. The students were mentored by Ravinder Kohli.
The Principal of the School, Mrs. Anmol Badjatia and the School Management congratulated the students on their brilliant performance.
