Jhulelal Institute of Technology has organised a workshop on “Opportunities & challenges for Sindhi Students to pursue Civil Services like IAS/IPS†on 10th of January 2020. This Program was financially supported by “National Council for Promotion of Sindhi Language (NCPSL)â€. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Ghansyhamdasji Kukreja, Vice Chairman NCPSL. Mr. Ramesh Tolani (Advocate Retd. ITAT) was the key note speaker, Mr. E.Z Khobragade (Retd. IAS), Mr. Neelot Pal(Deputy Commissioner of Police, IPS), Mr. Kishore Motwani (Professor, Ex-IES) were the guest speakers having UPSC background, Dr. Vinod Assudani (Professor in Humanities) & Kishor Lalwani( Social Worker) were other motivational speakers.
Around 200 sindhi students participated in the workshop. The Speakers guided the students about the importance of civil services in the development of Nation. They had given the guidelines about the examination preparation of civil services.Our key note speaker Mr. Tolani Spoke about the  importance of taxation & revenue in national context & asked sindhi community students to join IRS. Mr. Khobragade Guided students about various advantages & responsibilities of IAS officer as collector & at other significant positions.
The students were motivated for civil services by the well-known motivational speaker Dr. Vinod Assudani. Chief Guest Ghansyhamdasji Kukreja motivated & appealed sindhi students to join the civil services & Contribute in nation-building.
In the second session, Mr. Lalwani appreciated the efforts taken by JIT & thanked NCPSL, New Delhi for this unique effort for bringing sindhi talented students in the UPSC stream. Mr. Motwani told about the opportunities in engineering services. Mr Neelot Pal appealed the youth to join IPS & participate making the ration strong. Dr. Vinky Rughwani a senior medical practitioner and a renowned social worker was the Cheif Guest for the valedictory function.

Mahesh Sadhwani, Chairman, Mr. Virendra Kukreja, Secretary, Mr. Pramod Pampatwar, Director Technical, Ms. Madhavi Wairagade, Director HR & Administration, Dr. Narendra Bawane, Principal congratulated the team for successful conduction of this workshop. Dr. Debashish Bhowmick, Vice-Principal was the convenor & Ms. Bhavana Gopchandani Co-ordinator for this workshop. The entire organizing team members (Ms.Urvashi Agrawal, Ms. Ruchi Ashtankar, Dr. Mahesh Chopde, Mr. Gaurav Gurbani, & Mr. Anurag Karande, Mr. Gaurav Sambhe)of workshop who worked hard for the success of this workshop.
