Six athletes of Centre Point School Katol Road displayed their agility and dexterity in the Athletic Inter-District Tournament which was held between 13th to 15th Jan’2020. The tournament was organized as part of Khasdar Krida Mahotsav 2020 and conducted by Nagpur District Athletic Association at Nagpur University ground.
The athletes gave an outstanding performance and returned grabbing hordes of medals. The results were as follows: Jigisha Shivdasani (U/18 Hammer Throw – Gold), Agamdeep Pahuja (U/16 Hammer Throw – Gold), Sanskar Khemani (U/18 Hammer Throw and Discus Throw – Silver), Noor Ahmed (U/16 Shotput – Silver), Rutvi Patel (U/18 Javelin – Silver).
Saikat Joarder, the school coach proved himself to be a perfect idea for his students. In the Master’s Category of 35+, he clinched a Gold medal in Hammer Throw and Silver medal in Discuss Throw. The coach and the athletes were applauded for their success by Mrs. Shilpee Ganguly, Principal, CPS Katol Road, Vice Principals, staff and the students.
