The Green Team of The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School organized “Plastic Collection Drive” on 24th and 25th January 2020, in which the team made sure that every student and teacher participate and brings Plastic Plastic from their house on the given day. The collected Plastic was then handed over to Prof. Rajendra Singh Science Exploratory, which will be further sent for Recycling.
The Green Team has decided to make Plastic Collection as a Monthly Activity because they believe- “If we come together for our Mother Earth, we will thrive, so forever the Earth without Plastic remains alive”.
The activity was carried out under the initiative of Ex-student Miss Jue Pandharipande, (MSc. Environmental Science) for the project “Solid Waste Management” who is striving hard to make Nagpur Plastic Free.
The Activity was successful under the guidance of Chairman Shri Makarand Pandharipande, Principal Mrs. Rupali Hingwe and Head Mistress Primary Mrs. Megha Padhye.
