Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School. The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School celebrated its Annual Function – “Utsavon ki Rangpanchami†with zeal and enthusiasm on 8th February 2020 in School Ground ‘Madhurangan’.
The program commenced by lighting of the lamp and seeking blessings of Goddess Saraswati at the hands of Chairman Shri. Makarand Pandharipande.The theme ‘Utsavon ki Rangpanchami’ depicted India’s ‘Unity in Diversity’ in the form of fairs, festivals, dance, music, architecture, etc.The students through their mesmerizing flight of some colourful and vibrant fairs and festivals took the audience in the hearts of Jaisalmer – festival of Rajasthan in the West, to the Hornbill – festival of Nagaland, in the East, to the festivities of Onam in Kerela in the South, Goa Carnival, Malhari Martand of Maharashtra and the biggest fair of the world ‘The Kumbh’ in the North.
The theme ‘Utsavon ki Rangpanchami’ came alive by the script written by Mrs. Anamika Padhye (HOD Hindi Dept.), the classical dances choreographed by school teachers and students, colourful and attractive props made by Art & Craft teachers Mrs. Sumedha Patki and Mrs. Rajashree Tiwaskar with the support of student volunteers and music teachers Mrs. Vedashree Mandavgane, Mrs. Rakhi Shirpokar, Mrs. Nirja Saptarshy and Mr. Nishant Pathak for their music and the entire teaching and non-teaching staff of the school.The entire theme was set under the direction of Miss. Manjul Mehta HOD English Department. The smooth execution of the program was done under the able guidance of Head Mistress Primary Mrs. Megha Padhye.
The program was successful with the wholehearted support of Chairman Shri. Makarand Pandharipande, Principal Mrs. Rupali Hingwe and Headmistress Primary Mrs. Megha Padhye.
