Sampark, with Public Works Department (PWD) Nagpur, has organized a 3-day exhibition at PWD Campus, Civil Lines, Nagpur, from 14th Feb to 16th Feb 2020. Sampark, a group of 200 established and influential MSMEs, is a non-profit complete business solutions platform for the benefit of MSMEs.
This exhibition will be inaugurated by Hon. Anil Deshmukhji (Home Minister, Govt of Maharashtra) and Hon. Dr Nitin Rautji (Energy Minister, Govt of Maharashtra, Palakmantri, Nagpur) on 14th Feb at 4.00 pm.
Sampark-Rachana is a concentration of 50 members of this group who own construction, architecture, interior designing and related businesses.
All 50 will have different stalls at this exhibition. The targeted footfall at the 3-day exhibition is expected around 10,000. The Vidarbha-level exhibition is the first such in the region where MSMEs and the government will work together to promote a specific industry and bridge the gap between the private and public sectors.
This is first of this kind of exhibition expo in Nagpur region where efforts by volunteers of non-profit NGO “Sampark†has brought down the cost bearded by exhibitors. Most of the exhibitions of this industry held in Nagpur are purely commercial and profit-making ventures and are exorbitantly expensive for exhibitors. Since long time there was a need where Nagpur’s MSMEs wanted to exhibit their products and services at lower costs.
“Sampark-Rachna 2020†is a genuine effort in this direction and giving the opportunity to budget-conscious business owners of the construction and building industry. Earlier it was almost impossible for MSME business owners to exhibit stalls without finance or help from Corporate in existing exhibitions.
There will be several demos and practical experiments for Engineering, Architecture and design students helping them to understand examples how solar works, the functioning of fire-fighting systems, Elevator design, installations required for centralized AC and ducting, Light planning.
The beneficiaries of the expo are government projects, empaneled architects, consultants and contractors in Nagpur Municipal Corporation, Nagpur Improvement Trust, PWD and Central Public Works Department. Every Sampark member is well-connected with interior designers, architects, structural consultants, etc, and will invite them in his/her personal capacity.
The exhibition will be organized in February each year and promises to become a great value addition in this sector.
Through this press conference, we are trying to create awareness and also inform Nagpurians how this exhibition can help them in their day to day life.
