After Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) had a visit to Delhi with the city corporators and few of the officials to see how the government schools under Aam Admi Patry (AAP) work, now a group of principals will be visiting the Delhi government schools for the same. The visit is being organized to study the turnaround witnessed by these institutions which are being managed by Aravind Kejriwal.
According to School Headmaster Charitable Association (SHCA) the visit will be happening in the third week of March. During the visit the officials will meet education department of Delhi and interact on how they pulled out such a great model.
Founder president of SHCA Zafar Khan said, “It is a big move done by Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodiya that the government schools are being chosen over private schoolsâ€. Khan also mentioned that once the team is back in Nagpur, intensive meetings will be held to improve the quality of education and government schools in Maharashtra.
Fraternity of SHCA also plans to include parents, students and social workers, counsellors for their suggestions and prepare a comprehensive report. This report is said to contain all the aspects of Delhi schools about how they achieved all the aims and developed their facilities.
