In order to avoid huge rush during Holi festival, Central Railway will run four weekly special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Nagpur and between Pune and Nagpur.
As per information, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Nagpur Super fast special will have two trips. Train No 02031 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai at 00.45 hrs on March 11 and arrive in Nagpur at 14.10 hrs the same day. Train No 02032 special will leave Nagpur at 17.50 hrs on March 12 and reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Mumbai at 7.30 hrs next day.
The special trains have halts at Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Shegaon, Akola, Badnera and Wardha. The composition of trains would be Three AC- 3 Tier, One AC 2 Tier, 14 Sleeper Class, and 5 General Second Class Pune Train: Pune-Nagpur Weekly Super Fast special will also be one trip from each end. Train No 02047 special will leave Pune at 10.45 hrs on March 13 and arrive in Nagpur at 02.00 hrs next day.
Train No. 02048 special will leave Nagpur at 09.20 hrs on March 14 and reach Pune at 04.05 hrs next day. The halts are Kopergaon, Manmad, Bhusawal, Akola, Badnera and Wardha. The composition: Three AC- 3 Tier, One AC – 2 Tier, 14 Sleeper Class, 5 General Second Class. Bookings for Train Nos 02031, 02032, 02047, 02048 Special trains on special charges have opened at all PRS locations on March 2 and website www.irctc.co.in.General second class coaches will run as unreserved coaches and tickets can be booked through UTS as applicable for superfast Mail/Express trains.
