As part of National Science Day Celebrations, Department of Atomic Energy (Central Region, Nagpur) conducted various inter-school competitions on 28th February 2020. Three students of Air Force School Vayusena Nagar brought laurels to the school by bagging four coveted prizes.
Dipjyoti Mohanta of Std IX won the 2nd prize for his Powerpoint Presentation on ‘Scientific Innovation in Waste Management’ and a consolation prize in Elocution (Topic: ‘Women in Science). Ritika Amte of Std IX won the 3rd prize in Drawing (Topic: ‘Science in Day to Day Life’) while Rasika Rane of Std VIII won the 3rd prize in Elocution. The winners were awarded trophies and certificates. Principal Jayalakshmi Sekhar congratulated the young achievers and lauded the dedicated and tireless efforts of Science Teacher Sunita Pere.
