Maharashtra government on Friday has declared the Coronovairus as an epidemic in five metropolitan cities- Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.
CM Uddhav Thackeray in his latest tweet has informed that “Apart from the 10th and 12th exams we are closing schools in Pimpri Chinchwad and Pune till further noticeâ€.
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray while making the announcement in the state Legislative Assembly said that the government is invoking the Epidemic Diseases Act of 1897 from midnight.
