After the directives from the Maharashtra government, the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University has issued a GR to university and affiliated colleges regarding holidays till March 31.The state government has enforced the Epidemic Diseases Act 1897 in the state.
As per the directive, the students should either stay in hostels or in their homes during this period. And if they are found roaming in the city unnecessarily, then action would be taken against them. During this period, only the teaching activity will be closed but all other administrative work will continue. The university has asked the college administrations to direct the students who are living in the hostels not to roam in the city and stay in hostels or their homes only. And asked the students to take preventive measures against the deadly virus.
The university has also asked the students to return to their homes during the holiday period and if the students preferred to stay back in hostels, then they should not roam in the city unnecessarily.
